Prince Dr. Abdulaziz Opens Intersec Saudi Arabia 2025 in Riyadh

Prince Dr. Abdulaziz Bin Mohammed Bin Ayyaf Al Muqrin, Private Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Vice Minister of Interior, officially opened the 7th edition of Intersec Saudi Arabia today at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC).

Running until 1 October, the event is expected to attract around 27,000 visitors and features more than 380 exhibitors from over 36 countries showcasing innovations in security, safety, and fire protection. Intersec Saudi Arabia is held under the patronage of HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, Minister of Interior, in association with the General Directorate of Civil Defense.

During the opening, Prince Dr. Abdulaziz toured the exhibition floor, emphasizing the event’s role in promoting international collaboration in the security and safety sectors.

The event also hosts two major conferences: the Fire Protection and Technology Summit and the Future Security Summit, powered by ASIS International – Dharan Chapter.

Highlights from the conferences included discussions on fire safety and emergency management, with speakers such as Matt Sutcliffe, Assistant Chief Fire Officer, Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, and Phil Garrigan, Chair of the UK National Fire Chiefs Council.

Artificial Intelligence was a major focus at the Future Security Summit, with keynotes from Bader W. Alkhaldi, Director of Aramco’s Cybersecurity Protection Department, and Justin Vaughan, Director of Public Safety Technology at PwC Middle East, exploring AI applications for border security and emergency resilience.
