US Vice President JD Vance to Visit Utah Following Murder of Charlie Kirk

US Vice President JD Vance will travel to Utah on Thursday to meet the family of right-wing commentator Charlie Kirk, who was murdered while delivering a speech at a university in the state, according to a source familiar with the plans.
Vance had originally been scheduled to visit New York with his wife, Usha Vance, to mark the 24th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. However, the itinerary was changed in light of Kirk’s killing.
“The Vice President and Mrs. Vance will visit Salt Lake City, Utah today to pay their respects to the family of Charlie Kirk,” the source confirmed.
Kirk’s death has sparked shock and condemnation nationwide, with tributes pouring in from political allies and supporters.
