NATO on Wednesday criticized Moscow for its “reckless behavior” after Russian drones entered Polish airspace. The alliance praised its swift response to the breach.
Alliance chief Mark Rutte said a full investigation is underway. “Whether it was intentional or not, it is absolutely reckless and dangerous,” he added following emergency talks among NATO members.
Rutte also sent a direct message to Russian President Vladimir Putin: “Stop violating allied airspace. Know that we are ready, vigilant, and will defend every inch of NATO territory.”
