France Condemns Deadly Shooting in East Jerusalem

France has strongly condemned a shooting attack in East Jerusalem on Monday that killed five people and injured several others. President Emmanuel Macron expressed his condolences to the victims and the people of Israel.
“France strongly condemns the terrorist attack that has just occurred in East Jerusalem,” Macron wrote on X.
He also called for an end to the ongoing violence, saying, “The spiral of violence must come to an end. Only a political solution will bring back peace and stability for all in the region.”
