The Israeli military said on Sunday that it intercepted three drones launched from Yemen. The Huthi rebels in Yemen had vowed revenge following the killing of their prime minister in an Israeli airstrike last month.
In a statement, the Israeli Air Force said, “A short while ago, the IAF intercepted three UAVs that made their way from Yemen.” The military added that two drones were shot down before reaching Israeli airspace, but did not provide details about the third drone.
