Discussions Focus on Bilateral Relations and Peace Efforts in Ukraine
Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman, met with Andriy Yermak, Director of the Office of the Ukrainian President, at his office in Riyadh on Wednesday.
The two leaders discussed the strong ties between Saudi Arabia and Ukraine, the latest developments in the Ukrainian crisis, and ongoing efforts to achieve peace and stability. They also addressed several issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by high-ranking officials from both countries. From Saudi Arabia, attendees included Minister of State and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban, Chief of the General Staff Gen. Fayyad Al-Ruwaili, Assistant Minister of Defense Dr. Khalid Al-Bayari, and Intelligence Advisor Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif.
Representing Ukraine were Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov and Advisor Col. Ali Bakirov.
