On Labour Day, Bhavans Bahrain Indian School (BIS) embraced experiential learning by taking student leaders—Head Boy, Head Girl, Vice Heads, the Vice Captain of the Discipline Committee, along with staff—to a labour camp. Through the distribution of gifts, students expressed heartfelt gratitude and connected meaningfully with the community.

Students also spent time interacting with workers from engineering sites, listening to their experiences and sharing conversations that built mutual respect and understanding.

This initiative helped students understand the dignity of labour and the importance of respecting every profession. It encouraged them to value the hard work and contributions of workers from all walks of life, fostering humility, empathy, and inclusivity.

By recognising that every role in society is essential and deserves respect, BIS continues to nurture socially responsible, compassionate, and grounded individuals.
