Student from NMS Bahrain Shines on Global Platform with TED-Ed Talk

The New Millennium School, Bahrain, proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of its student, Jaahnavi Jia, whose TED-style talk titled “RELAXATION – Welcome to the World of Rubber Bands” has been selected for publication on the TED-Ed Student Talks Official YouTube Channel.
The talk was submitted as part of the prestigious Great Ideas Quest, a global platform that encourages young minds to explore, innovate, and share powerful ideas. Jaahnavi’s presentation creatively draws parallels between the elasticity of rubber bands and the importance of relaxation and resilience in managing life’s pressures. Her insightful narrative and engaging delivery impressed evaluators, earning her a place on the internationally recognized TED-Ed platform.
This accomplishment highlights not only Jaahnavi’s exceptional communication and critical thinking skills but also reflects the school’s commitment to nurturing creativity, confidence, and global perspectives among its students.
Principal Dr Arun Kuumar Sharma expressed immense pride, stating that Jaahnavi’s achievement is a testament to the power of young voices and reflects the depth of thought NMS strives to cultivate in its students. He congratulated Jaahnavi, her proud parents alongwith the TED-Ed Teacher In-Charge, Ms. Manisha Nair and Student mentor Master Sagar Asnani, who supported her in this journey to excellence.
Chairman Dr Ravi Pillai and Managing Director Mrs Geetha Pillai also lauded the achievement, saying that NMS believes in empowering students to think beyond textbooks and express ideas that can inspire change.
