Students of New Millennium School experience Bahrain’s rich animal and agricultural heritage at Mara’ee 2025

The Grade 5 students of New Millennium School, Bahrain had an enriching and memorable educational visit to Mara’ee 2025, Bahrain’s premier animal and agricultural exhibition showcasing the Kingdom’s advancements in livestock, farming, and sustainable agricultural practices.
The visit offered students a unique opportunity to explore Bahrain’s diverse agricultural landscape. They interacted with experts, viewed various livestock breeds, and learned about modern farming techniques, animal care, and the importance of sustainable food production. The hands-on displays and live demonstrations helped students connect classroom learning with real-world applications, making the experience both educational and enjoyable.
One of the highlights of the trip was the students’ interaction with local farmers and exhibitors, who shared insights on innovative technologies used in Bahrain’s agricultural sector. Students were fascinated by the exhibits featuring native and international animals, mechanised farming tools, and the Kingdom’s efforts to enhance food security.
Teachers accompanying the students noted that the visit broadened their understanding of agriculture’s role in the nation’s development. The field trip not only strengthened their science and social studies learning but also encouraged curiosity, environmental awareness, and appreciation for Bahrain’s agricultural heritage.
Expressing his gratitude, Principal Dr Arun Kuumar Sharma thanked the leadership and governance of the Kingdom of Bahrain for providing students with such an enriching opportunity. He acknowledged the nation’s commitment to education, innovation, and sustainability, emphasising that initiatives like Mara’ee 2025 play a vital role in shaping informed, environmentally conscious future citizens.
Chairman Dr Ravi Pillai and Managing Director Mrs Geetha Pillai extended their greatest appreciation to the organisers of Mara’ee 2025 for their hospitality and for providing students with an engaging and informative experience.
