Bhavans-Bahrain Indian School Ignites Cultural Spirit with Hindi Diwas Celebrations

In a vibrant display of linguistic pride and cultural celebration, Bhavans- Bahrain Indian School (BIS) marked Hindi Diwas with an engaging and memorable event that brought together students, staff, and management. The programme commenced on a cheerful note with the school prayer in Hindi, instilling a sense of unity and reverence among all present. This was followed by a heartfelt Quran recitation and the stirring Bahrain National Anthem, setting the tone for an inspiring day.

The celebration further gained depth with addresses from the esteemed directors, Mr. Himanshu Verma and Mrs. Ritu Verma, who elaborated on the critical role of language in the cognitive development of a child, inspiring students and educators alike to cherish linguistic skills as a tool for holistic learning.

Principal Mr. Saji Jacob captivated the audience with an intriguing speech, emphasising the importance of nurturing a love for language and highlighting Hindi as a medium to connect with heritage and culture.  

The cultural segment of the programme enthralled everyone with poem recitations, speeches in Hindi, a one-act play, and craft activities, which showcased the creativity, talent, and enthusiasm of the students. The auditorium reverberated with energy, laughter, and applause, making the event both educational and entertaining.  

The celebration concluded on a patriotic and harmonious note reminding the power of language to inspire, educate, and unite, fostering both cultural appreciation and cognitive growth among students.
