Renault is expected to launch a heavily updated version of the Kwid in Brazil soon. The entry-level hatchback was recently spotted completely undisguised, revealing several of the changes planned for the refreshed model.
The new Kwid features a redesigned front fascia with a gloss-black insert flanked by LED DRLs and turn indicators. The front bumper has also been redesigned with a two-tone finish and now houses the headlamps.
At the rear, the overall design remains largely unchanged, although the updated model gets clear-lens taillights and a two-tone bumper with a silver faux skid plate.
Inside, the new Kwid is expected to receive a digital instrument cluster and a centrally mounted touchscreen infotainment system. The left-hand-drive version also gets a new three-spoke multifunction steering wheel.
Despite the significant cosmetic and interior updates, the Kwid is expected to retain its existing mechanical setup.
