UniHawk mentee bound for UK university after topping Bahrain CBSE results

Island and Gulf Region Commerce topper heads to London School of Economics

A student mentored by university admissions experts, UniHawk, has secured a place at the renowned London School of Economics (LSE) this Fall after excelling in her CBSE exams in Bahrain.  Dhruvi Karia topped the Island results with 99.2 percent and was also the topper in Commerce across the entire Gulf Region. Karia will now pursue a degree in Financial Mathematics and Statistics at the top London university.

A graduate of New Millenium School Bahrain, Karia believes that practice and consistency have been the key to her academic success. She explained, “Right from day one, I stayed up to date with my studies. This made revision much easier as the exams approached. I also focused on solving multiple practice papers, which helped me strengthen my understanding of concepts and improve my time management.” On receiving her remarkable results, Karia said, “I was overwhelmed and truly grateful. Seeing my efforts pay off was such a fulfilling moment. All the consistency, late nights, and practice finally felt worth it. It was a mix of relief, happiness, and pride in the journey I had taken to get there.”

Mentored by UniHawk throughout her university application journey, Karia says that the support played a pivotal role in securing her entry to LSE. She explained, “From helping me shortlist the right universities to refining my personal statement and preparing for interviews, the guidance was invaluable. Their mentorship gave me the clarity and confidence I needed at every step. Without that support, it would have been difficult to navigate through the entire application process. UniHawk’s guidance made everything more structured and less overwhelming.”

Speaking about her next step, Karia said, “LSE has been my dream university for as long as I can remember. It’s so well reputed, especially in the areas I’m passionate about, like economics and finance. It felt like the kind of place that would truly challenge me and help me grow. I’m most excited about learning from world-class professors and being part of a diverse and intellectually stimulating community. I’m also looking forward to exploring new ideas, participating in student societies, and experiencing life in one of the most vibrant cities in the world. I love how diverse and international the student community is, and being in London means there are so many opportunities right at your doorstep. It just felt like the perfect place for the next chapter of my journey.”

Looking to her future beyond university, Karia concluded, “I’ve always been fascinated by numbers and patterns, and combining this with statistics will allow me to apply analytical thinking to real-world financial and policy challenges. It’s the perfect intersection of logic and impact. My long-term goal is to work in investment banking, where I can use data-driven insights to guide major financial decisions. Eventually, I hope to contribute to economic development initiatives that create lasting impact, especially in emerging markets.”

Comment on her success Karia’s father Jatin said, “We are incredibly proud of Dhruvi’s outstanding achievement in securing 99.2% in the CBSE 12th Grade and being the Bahrain and Gulf Topper in the Commerce stream. Her dedication and perseverance have truly paid off. We are deeply grateful to the UniHawk team for their expert guidance and unwavering support throughout her university application journey, helping her secure admission to prestigious institutions like LSE and UCLA. This milestone marks the beginning of a promising future.”

Part of the team mentoring Karia throughout the process was Senior Education Consultant, Mr. Ramiz Shaikh, who remarked, “Dhruvi is an exemplary student and thoroughly deserves the outstanding results she has achieved to earn a place at her dream university. She is well prepared for the next step in her academic journey at LSE, and we look forward to seeing her succeed in her ambitions to create a lasting impact in the world.”
