Final qualifying round of MMA on Thursday

The final qualifying round of the National Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Championship takes place next Thursday at Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town under the patronage of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport First Deputy Chairman and Bahrain Athletics Association President Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and organised by Khalid bin Hamad
Foundation.
Qualifying has also taken place in March and April and the final round features 16 fighters competing for 10 places to represent Bahrain in
the Khalid bin Hamad Mixed Martial Arts (KHK MMA) team to represent Bahrain in various International events, including the World UFC Championships to be held next July in US.
The organising committee members have named Bahrain City Centre as the venue to host the weigh-in for the event and the press conference for
participants this Wednesday.
