It is another day to Celebrate for the Argentines and the world all over, it is his 60th birthday, and none can forget that hand he stretched out to score a goal, breaking England’s heart in the 1984 World Cup. It was on a jump he used his hand instead of head to put aside that volley into England’s net. If such a goal was scored by an average player, the whole football fans may curse or complain or criticize. But by that time, Maradona has been titled as a god for Argentine fans to call it the hand of God and the whole football world imbibed it.

No football fan can forget Maradona dribbling the opponents in the field. It was more like a magical dance and the ball always stick to his legs as if attracted like an iron piece to a magnet until it finds a mysterious way to beat the goalkeeper and find a secured space in the nets. Not only he had scored many magical goals but also helped many score. He was a brilliant playmaker.

Now the World is searching for a successor. Many fans of him say it is Lionel Messi. Maradona also has called Messi a great player, but the only thing that Messi lacks on his shelf is a World Cup which had turned Maradona angry many times. And there is also the Portuguese player Christiano Ronaldo questioning Leo Messi’s number one position through his magical football skills.

Speaking about this to a French Media, Maradona has said “Messi and Ronaldo are a cut above the other players at the moment, Not one is able to do half of what they can.” And when asked about what he wants on his sixtieth birth day what Maradona said would definitely make England fans furious. "I dream of being able to score another goal against the English, with the right hand this time."

Born in 1960 in Buenos Aires, he developed his skills playing for Argentino Juniors, Boca Juniors, Barcelona, Napoli, Sevilla, and in international football he earned 91 caps and scored 34 goals. In the 1986 World cup, he captained Argentina and beat West Germany in the final to lift the World cup.
