Toyota Gazoo Racing Clinches 1-2 Finish as Ferrari Secures 2025 FIA Championships
Toyota Gazoo Racing dominated the Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain, claiming a spectacular 1-2 finish, while Ferrari sealed the 2025 Hypercar World Endurance Manufacturer Championship. Ferrari’s #51 crew—James Calado, Antonio Giovinazzi, and Alessandro Pier Guidi—also took home the Hypercar World Endurance Drivers’ title for the season.
The #7 Toyota Gazoo Racing GR010 Hybrid, driven by Nyck de Vries, Kamui Kobayashi, and Mike Conway, delivered Toyota’s first race win of the season, rounding off a highly competitive campaign in which five different manufacturers secured victories across eight rounds.
In the LMGT3 category, the #92 Manthey 1stPhorm trio of Richard Lietz, Riccardo Pera, and Ryan Hardwick celebrated Manthey’s second consecutive title by finishing fourth in class. Meanwhile, the #87 Akkodis ASP Lexus, driven by José-María López, Petru Umbrarescu, and Clemens Schmid, claimed their second LMGT3 victory of the season, following their first win at Interlagos in July.
The Bahrain finale showcased a season of fierce competition, with manufacturers and drivers alike leaving their mark on the 2025 WEC championship.
