BSB organises obesity screening for students
British School of Bahrain (BSB) organised a Blood Pressure and Obesity Screening for students aged 11 to 15 years.
It was held in liaison with Dr. Jafar Al Said, Chair of Internal Medicine, Nephrology and Internal Medicine Consultant in Bahrain Specialist Hospital.
This is an excellent initiative, which will be part of a nationwide study.
Trained medical staff from the hospital carried the screening and had an amazing experience with the students. The hospital members were welcomed with questions from the students.
They discussed about their regular meals to maintain fitness.
