Girl Guides in Bahrain learn skills
Manama : The Ministry of Education Girl Guides and Boy Scouts Department organized a triathlon workshop for girl guides from various schools in the Kingdom.
More than 300 students took part in the workshop which was held at the Bilaj Al Jayazer beach. The students involved in various activities connected to the triathlon workshop like swimming, running, cooking, art and crafts. The students were also given training in technological works like QR and bar code scanning.
The one-day programme was held under the guidance of Acting Director of Girl Guides Department Dr. Latifa Al Qauid which functions under the Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Services and Students Activities Dr. Shaikha Yousaf Al Jeeb.
The girl guides specialists who accompanied the students were Noora Shawush, Muntanza, Abeer Murad, Hanan Majid, Dana, May Tameemi, Latifa Hasan, Dr.Nabeela Al Dousari.
Dr. Latifa Al Qauid honoured the girl guides and leaders from different schools in the Kingdom.
