Indian Ambassador to Bahrain visits UPS at Bahrain International Investment Park

Unique Power Switchgears (UPS) W.L.L., a leading Bahraini-based electrical engineering and manufacturing company, welcomed His Excellency Mr. Vinod K. Jacob, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, during an official visit to its state-of-the-art facility at the Bahrain International Investment Park (BIIP).
The visit highlighted UPS W.L.L.’s growing role in Bahrain’s industrial and infrastructure development and its position as a trusted provider of high-quality electrical solutions. An ISO 9001:2015 certified company, UPS W.L.L. is the authorized panel builder for LK “Lauritz Knudsen” by Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd. (SEIPL), formerly known as L&T “Larsen & Toubro,” reflecting its strong alignment with international engineering standards and innovation. His Excellency was received by the company’s leadership team, headed by Mr. Abdulrahman Jumaa, Chairman, and Mr. Jayashankar Viswanathan, Managing Director, alongside members of the Board of Directors and distinguished guests from the business and community sectors.
During a comprehensive tour of the manufacturing facility, the Ambassador was briefed on UPS W.L.L.’s advanced production processes, quality assurance systems, and commitment to continuous improvement. Established in 2009, the company has achieved sustained growth, recording an approximate cumulative business value of USD 21 million by 2025. Its successful transition to a W.L.L. structure and the expansion of its portfolio to include sandwich-type busbar trunking systems further demonstrate its strategic development and market responsiveness.
H.E. Mr. Vinod K. Jacob praised UPS W.L.L.’s commitment to quality, innovation, and professional development. He highlighted the company’s role in strengthening industrial cooperation between India and Bahrain and supporting sustainable economic growth in the Kingdom.
