Aryabhata House Maintains Lead as ISB Youth Festival Concludes

Aryabhata House and CV Raman House have taken the lead in Tarang 2025, the annual Youth Festival of The Indian School Bahrain (ISB). Aryabhata currently tops the scoreboard with 1,373 points, closely followed by CV Raman House with 1,267 points. JC Bose House stands third with 1,249 points, while Vikram Sarabhai House trails closely at 1,222 points. The upcoming quiz and debate competitions, scheduled for October 22 and 25, are expected to intensify the contest.
Tarang 2025 exemplifies ISB’s steadfast commitment to fostering holistic student development by harmonizing cultural expression with academic excellence. As the festival progresses, excitement continues to build around the prestigious awards recognizing both individual and group achievements. The much-coveted Kalaratna and Kalashri titles will honor the most outstanding overall performers, who will also receive a trophy, certificate, and crown.
The Group Championship trophies will be presented to the exceptional teams, while the House Star Awards will recognize top performers from each house. In total, more than 1,800 trophies and certificates will be distributed—making Tarang 2025 one of the largest school-level youth festivals in the region in terms of participation and recognition. Prizes for group events were distributed immediately after the announcements at respective venues, while individual awards will be conferred during the Grand Finale on a later date.
This year’s edition has made history, featuring participation from over 7,000 students in literary events and an additional 2,000 students in group performances. ISB Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon. Secretary; V. Rajapandian, EC Member; Principal V. R. Palaniswamy; and Senior School & Academic Administration Vice-Principal G. Satheesh congratulated all participants for their enthusiasm and exceptional performances in the festival.
