LuLu continues success march with Juffair opening

The 120th Lulu Hypermarket, part of the region’s largest and fastest-growing retail operation and flagship enterprise of the LuLu Group, is set for a grand opening tomorrow  in Juffair. The opening of this fifth hypermarket of the group in the Kingdom, is held under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.  

In a statement, Yusaffali  MA (Chairman, LuLu Group)  thanked Bahrain’s leadership, government and people for the success of  LuLu Hypermarket, saying the vision of Bahrain’s leaders and the  transparency, accessibility and effectiveness of the Bahrain Government was the foundation of LuLu Hypermarket’s success in the Kingdom.

This is the fifth hypermarket of the group in Bahrain and is located in the new Juffair Mall. The hypermarket will serve the Juffair, Hoora, Gudaibiya, Adliya and Umm Al Hassam areas with its widest range of products from all over the world. As always the new hypermarket provides the widest range of quality and value-for-money products all under one roof. It has separate sections for fresh fruits and vegetables, meat and poultry, dairy products, ready-to-eat products and a state-of-the-art live bakery and Hot Foods kitchen. The product mix in Lulu Juffair will also include a wide selection of premium UK and US goods, including special foods air-flown for freshness.

 The outlet also offers a huge area dedicated to electronics, IT products, home appliances, sports,  kitchenware, toys, stationery and health & beauty products. The new hypermarket also offers a wide choice of world-class fashion brands and products for men, women and children. 

The systematically arranged sections promise customers an easy and hassle-free shopping experience. Extra-wide aisles, extensively laid out counters and ample parking space are some of the distinguishing features of the new store

The LuLu Group has taken its LuLu Hypermarket flagship brand to over nine countries, the most recent being Egypt. The hypermarket operation employs over 35,000 people from 41 countries and plans to start operations in Malaysia and Indonesia by February 2016.
