The Bahrain Food Festival 2024 kicked off its eighth edition at Marassi Bahrain, Diyar Muharraq. Running from February 8 to 24, the festival boasts the participation of over 100 restaurants, cafes, and local and international hospitality vendors.

The festival, organised by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), promises a delectable experience for food enthusiasts and families alike.

Marassi Al Bahrain has transformed into a food lover’s paradise, with a wide array of food stalls offering an assortment of mouth-watering delicacies.

From burgers and pasta to coffees and teas, visitors can savour a diverse range of culinary delights. The festival also features popular favourites such as potato twisters, fries, shawarma, and pizzas.

For those with a sweet tooth, a delightful assortment of desserts, including ice creams and Japanese-style treats, are available.

One notable improvement from the previous year’s festival is the availability of ample parking space adjacent to the festival grounds.

Attendees no longer need to rely on provided buses or park their cars far away, making it even more convenient for visitors to access the festival.

Yesterday, festivalgoers had the added delight of watching a live Asian Cup match.

As people savoured their food choices, they eagerly secured their seats to enjoy the thrilling match.

Aside from the plethora of gastronomic delights, the Bahrain Food Festival 2024 offers a host of entertainment events and live shows throughout its 17-day duration.

Marassi Beach serves as the main stage, showcasing talented Bahraini artists and local bands. Visitors can enjoy captivating performances by renowned acts such as the Ismael Dawas Band, The Ravens, AQ Jazz Experience, DJ Swift, Oracle Project, Relocators, Five Star, and many more.

The festival opens its doors from 4 pm until midnight, providing ample opportunities for families and friends to indulge in an unforgettable culinary experience. Moreover, the event serves as a platform for small business owners to promote their delectable offerings through their food stalls.
