Sitra Secondary School for Girls student shines in literary contest

Maryam Ahmed Qambar, a student at Sitra Secondary School for Girls, has secured her place in the final qualifiers of the “Poetry, Story, and Novel” competition.
The upcoming event is scheduled to take place in the UAE in March and is organised by the Arab Education Office for the Gulf States.
Maryam clinched the top spot in the story category during the local qualifiers held in Bahrain, under the supervision of the Ministry of Education. Expressing her joy at this accomplishment, Maryam credited her journey to the “Medad” competition within her school, where her teacher’s advice propelled her to participate in the Gulf competition.
