HM King Hamad appoints new human rights commissioners

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Royal Order (26) of 2025 appointing members of the Council of Commissioners of the National Institution for Human Rights.
Under Article I, the following shall be appointed as members of the Council of Commissioners of the National Institution for Human Rights:
First: Full-time members: Ali Ahmed Alderazi, Dr. Malallah Jaffar Al Hammadi, Mohammed Jumaa Fazea, and Maha Saleh Al Shehab.
Second: Part-time members: Dr. Hamad Ibrahim Al Abdullah, Daniel Mark Cohen, Rawdha Salman Al Aradi, Shaikha Hamdi Al Sheiba, Dr. Shaima Abdullah Jumaa Mohammed, Abdullah Khalifa Al Thawadi, and Muna George Koro.
Their term of office shall be four years.
Under Article II, this Order shall come into effect from the date of its issue and be pubHM the King lished in the Official Gazette.
