Russian drug peddlers arrested
Three Russians, charged with drugs peddling, will hear their verdict on November 30.
The trio, who is now in police custody, has entered a not guilty plea when they appeared earlier before the High Criminal Court.
Two of the accused fell into the police net following a sting operation carried out after an undercover police agent approached the first suspect, to purchase drugs at a cost of BD100.
The transaction was made at the latter's apartment, where her second co-accused was seen with her.
The third accused was later nabbed after the first accused had turned on her, revealing to police that she was receiving the drugs from her, according to court files.
A quantity of unlawful drugs were seized from the accused during inspections to their homes.
