Traffic chaos due to ‘upcoming holidays’

Despite best efforts to address the traffic woes ahead of the upcoming holidays, commuters are reportedly having difficulties in moving from one point to the other across the nation. Many people are seen to get on roads in order to see the lights, and also going for grocery shopping as supermarkets offer steep discounts in honour of National Day.
Speaking to The Daily Tribune, Badusha P K, an expat and local driver, said: “Heavy traffic is seen towards Riffa, Isa Town and near Manama. I have to rush and drop and pick my customers. I am trying to take inner routes to travel easy and fast.”
