More advanced weapons and equipment on way for BDF

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, yesterday reviewed plans to develop various branches and units of the Bahrain Defence Force and equip them with advanced weapons and military supplies.
The effort is to provide BDF personnel with the “best and most advanced weapons and military systems, in addition to the training programmes for the next season,” said top BDF officials in a briefing to HM King.
The National Guard Commander, General HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Chief of Staff of BDF, Lieutenant-General Dheyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, presented HM King with the details at the Al-Safriya Palace.
HM King expressed pride for the brave BDF personnel, commending their outstanding role in protecting the Kingdom’s accomplishments and ensuring security for the citizens. His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa wished the Bahrain Defence Force service-men continued success in performing their duties.
