Under the patronage of Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Bahrain National Arts Council, and in conjunction with the Bahrain Formula One races, the exhibition will be held from 16 to 18 March at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, offering an excellent platform to introduce and demonstrate the world of NFT technology.

For those wishing to attend the exhibition, registration is free of charge and can be accessed through the following link: www.nftmenaexhibit.com “We are pleased to be part of the first NFT exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa” said Athena Yu, EVP of Binance NFT, “the digital currency revolution is not limited to the world of cryptocurrency and trading platforms, but also to the art world.

We want artists in Bahrain and the wider region to benefit from emerging new technologies. We believe that this exhibition is an ideal platform to exchange experiences and learn from each other.” The Chairman of Dar Al Fann Gallery, Mr Abdulrahman Almokla, commented: “We are proud to have Binance as the gold sponsor of the NFT MENA Exhibit 2022, and we express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all who have offered their support to this exhibition.

Such support, from esteemed companies of unparalleled calibre, validates our cause, elevates our brand and consolidates the culture of technology and innovation, not only locally but internationally. This widens our scope and furthers our reach to the world.”

Mr Almokla added that “the exhibition provides a favourable platform for artists, gallerists, corporations and entrepreneurs on the Blockchain. It also offers investors a firsthand opportunity to learn about the production and trading of artworks, and how this has cultivated a fertile ground to foster technology, art, culture and economy.

In cooperation with “Dar AlFan”, the RAK Art Foundation announced the launch of the first exhibition of its kind in the MENA region earlier in the year, one that deals with non-fungible tokens (NFT) technology to trade artwork. This demonstrates Bahrain’s leading role in this global digital trend, of artistic and cultural production.
