British rock musician Eric Clapton set to perform live at Al Dana Amphitheatre

Al Dana Amphitheatre, Bahrain’s newest and most exciting live entertainment destination, made the big reveal yesterday – following the recent announcement of the start of an exciting season of events lined up for the Year 2022 – announcing that the highly influential, Grammy Award-winning singer Eric Clapton will be performing live on Saturday, 19 March.
At the age of 17, the British rock musician joined his first band in 1963 and had become a highly influential guitarist before releasing his self-titled debut album in 1970.
Clapton began touring throughout the 1970s and 1980s, earning his first Grammy Award in 1972 for the ‘Album Of The Year for The Concert For Bangladesh’, quickly gaining popularity to reach new heights in 1992 with the release of ‘Unplugged’ and the Grammy Award-winning single, ‘Tears In Heaven’.
Clapton released his latest album, ‘The Lady In The Balcony’, in November 2021, followed by the release of his new single in December, ‘Heart of Child’ which was announced by the Hall of Fame guitarist on Twitter.
Additionally, the venue can host a variety of indoor and outdoor events for global event promoters, corporate events, and private celebrations.
