Violations in Block 905 in Riffa to be inspected

General Director of Southern Governorate Police Brigadier Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa announced that the district police would carry out security and general order protection duties in all areas in the governorate, including block 905 in East Riffa, in which some people complained of behavioural violations.

He said that although the department didn’t receive a case in this regard, as part of community partnership approach, a specialised team of community police personnel will be assigned to study the situations in this block by interacting with the citizens and residents.

He said that the department deploys police patrols round the clock to monitor any illegal activities in the block to take legal actions. He stated that it could be exaggeration to consider some practices in the area as criminal phenomena as no spreading of criminal practice was noticed.
He said that the department

had taken serious steps against illegal acts in accordance to the decided legal proceedings. He also said that citizens and foreigners regularly visited shops and industrial workshops in the block and no cases were reported by the residents and visitors of being exposed to any harm.

He added that the department was ready to directly deal with any complaint of citizens and resident to ensure their security and safety.
