Upgrading higher education sector

Higher Education Council Secretary-General Dr Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa received American University of Bahrain (AUBH) president, Dr Susan Saxton. Shaikha Rana expressed her appreciation for the efforts made by Dr Saxton to improve the university’s output, reflecting the advanced level of the academic programmes offered by the university, the scientific and research expertise it possesses, and human cadres.
She affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness to assure an attractive environment for investment in education, and the implementation of projects aimed at upgrading the higher education sector.
Dr Rana congratulated Dr Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa on the issuance of a royal decree appointing her the Council’s secretary-general. She expressed gratitude for the support the university has had on all levels in Bahrain.
