Health Undersecretary Dr Waleed Khalifa Al Manea has praised the competence and dedication of the Bahraini health workers in confronting the coronavirus pandemic.

They have been working to the maximum of capacity amid the exceptional health conditions affecting the globe and they have been accomplishing outstanding achievements within Team Bahrain, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the undersecretary said as he visited Al Aali field center.

The center is used for implementing the policy of "optional home quarantine" as well as a precautionary quarantine for children and women.

Al Manea thanked the health workers at the center and praised the contributions of the volunteers who have been serving the health sector in the Kingdom during the COVID-19 crisis, proving their commitment to the wellbeing of all communities and demonstrating their patriotism.

The undersecretary toured the facilities where he was briefed on the various services offered to Bahrainis and foreigners and all the procedures followed to ensure safety for all.

Al Manea, a member of the National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (COVID-19), hailed the efficiency of Bahrain's health workers who have maintained high-performance levels and provided regular medical services in the Salmaniya Medical Complex and the health centers across the Kingdom and throughout the various stages of the pandemic.
