Rashid Equestrian Club holds season’s 6th race

 Under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club held the sixth race for this season, 2020-2021, at its racecourse in Raffa, Sakhir.

HH Shaikh Sultanuddin bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Hashim bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Nader bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Nooh bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Ali bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, and Information Affairs Minister, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, attended.

 Nine rounds were held over the cups of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the cups of his two sons, HH Shaikh Faisal bin Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and HH Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the National Day Cup, patronised by the Information Affairs Ministry, and the two cups of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club.

On behalf of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad, HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Ali Al Khalifa crowned the winners of the cups of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad and his sons.

He presented trophies to trainer Abdulla Kuwait, for the first round, trainer Allen Smith, for the second and seventh rounds, owner Abdulla Fawzi Nass, for the fifth round, trainer Fawzi Nass, for the sixth round, and owner Mohammed Khalid Abdulrahim, for the ninth round.

Meanwhile, the Information Minister crowned trainer Fawzi Nass for winning the National Day Cup, sponsored by the Information Affairs Ministry.

CEO of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, Shaikh Salman bin Rashid Al Khalifa, presented owners Youssif Al-Buainain and Fadhel Jumaa, the winners of the third and fourth rounds, respectively.
