Cables of condolences pour in from foreign leaders

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister, yesterday received more cables of condolences from regional neighbours and other countries over the passing of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

They extended their sincere sympathy to HM King Hamad, HRH Prince Salman, Royal Family and the people of Bahrain, recalling the late HRH Premier’s contributions in serving the Arab and Islamic nations and enhancing security and stability in the region and the world.
 HM the King received heartfelt messages from Moroccan Monarch, HM King Mohammed VI, Saudi National Guard Minister His Royal Highness Prince Abdulla bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Jordan’s HRH Prince Hamza Ibn Al-Hussain, Kuwait’s Amiri Court head HE Shaikh Mubarak Faisal Saud Al Sabah and Shaikha Dr Suad Mohammed Al Sabah, among others.

Also extending their deepest condolences were Kyrgyz Republic Prime Minister and Acting President Sadyr Japarov, Republic of Korea President Moon Jae-In, German Ambassador to Bahrain Kai Thamo Boeckmann and Sudanese Ambassador Mohammed Al Hassan Ahmed Saad.

HM the King also received a cable of condolences from HH Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak, president of the UAE General Women’s Union, chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF).

HRH Prince Salman received condolences from Jordan’s HRH Prince Hamzah Bin Al Hussein, Shaikha Dr Souad Mohamed Sabah Al Sabah of Kuwait, Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Mohammed Jassem Al-Sager.
