Suitable housing for Bahraini citizens

Local banks have launched special financing offers for citizens of the Mazaya Social Housing Program to purchase residential villas in the Danat Al Lawzi project, the Housing Bank has announced.

Kuwait Finance House, Al Salam Bank, Bahrain Islamic Bank, Al Baraka Islamic Bank, Ithmaar Bank, Al Ahli United Bank, Bahrain and Kuwait Bank is offering easy financing facilities for citizens to own housing units in the project.

“We are proud of the distinguished contribution made by these elite banking institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain that seek to enable citizens benefiting from the Danat Al Lawzi project,” said Housing Minister and Housing Bank chairman Basem bin Yaqoub Al Hamar said.

The ‘Mazaya’ program to obtain easy financing to purchase residential villas was presented by Danat Al Lawzi.

“We also commend all the efforts made by these banks to support the housing sector and achieve the visions and goals of the Housing Bank, through which we look to meet the growing demand for social housing solutions for the Bahraini citizen.

“Accordingly, we renew our commitment to documenting co-operation frameworks with our partners in the banking sector, and we seek to continue this fruitful partnership to offer other future projects and initiatives in the interest of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its citizens.”

“We are pleased to co-operate with our partners in the banking sector to provide various offers on real estate financing for Danat Al Lawzi homes, and we honour the effective role of this partnership in facilitating the procurement process for Bahraini citizens who benefit from the Mazaya program and their contribution to owning their own homes,” said Housing Bank general manager Dr Khaled Abdullah said.

“The Housing Bank continues its commitment to provide the best affordable financing solutions to ensure that Bahraini citizens obtain suitable housing for themselves and their families.”

The Danat Al Lawzi project contains 303 residential villas in seven different designs, including attached, semi-detached and corner.

The land area of the villas ranges between 177 and 360 square meters, while the building area ranges between 232 and 250 square meters.
They include four bedrooms, including two master bedrooms with attached bathrooms. It also includes a majlis, hall, two kitchens (internal and external), three bathrooms, a garage that can accommodate two adjacent cars and a room for domestic workers with a bathroom.
