NMS-DPS students excel

New Millennium School (NMS)-DPS Bahrain has achieved a 100 per cent pass percentage (126 students) in the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE), conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in New Delhi, India, last March. A total of 77 out of the 126 students scored above 90 per cent, and 115 excelled with distinction.

The school also achieved centum in chemistry, psychology, English, biology, marketing and engineering graphics. Fifty-three students earned an A grade in all the subjects. Of the 80 students who appeared in the science stream, 54 secured above 90 per cent marks and 36 students excelled with an A grade in all subjects.

Of the 40 students who appeared in the commerce stream, 16 secured above 90 per cent marks and 12 students excelled with an A grade in all subjects. Of the six students who appeared in the humanities stream three secured above 90 per cent marks and three excelled with an A grade in all subjects.

In the science stream, Dhwani Dhiraj Bhatia and Harish Saravanan Anuja topped the school with 97.6 per cent. In the commerce stream Ananya Upadhyayula topped the school with 97.2 per cent. In the humanities stream Sanjana Priya Mylraj topped the school with 97.6 per cent.

School chairman Padmashri (Dr) Ravi Pillai and managing director Geetha Ravi Pillai congratulated the students, staff members, principal and parents for their sincere efforts and guidance, and wished the students future success.
