Bahraini boys’ unsuccessful ‘Zlatan Ibrahimovic selfie bid’ goes viral

Two Bahraini students, aged 19 and 20, attending a US-based university, miserably failed in their attempts to invade the football pitch and take selfies with their Swedish soccer superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The pair raced towards the 38-year-old former Manchester United Player after the game between LA Galaxy and Colorado just to reach him, but were held back by the security staff. The pair have been identified as Yousif Shabib (19) and Sayed Alawi (20).

The video of their failed attempt has gone viral across social media networks and leading news websites.  Zlatan Ibrahimovic has a huge fan following in the Kingdom. At present, an LA Galaxy forward, Zlatan is a prolific goalscorer who is best known for his technique, creativity, strength, ability in the air, and his powerful and accurate striking ability.
