250 Health Ministry staff set to provide medical support at F1

More than 250 personnel from the Ministry of Health will provide medical support at Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, it was revealed. The Ministry of Health will take all the necessary measures to provide medical support for this year’s F1, Minister of Health Faeqa Al Saleh assured.

The minister made the statement at a workshop held at Art Rotana in Amwaj Islands to discuss the developments in marshaling, emergency and medical support at F1.

She confirmed that the Health Ministry team at F1 would include medical as well as administrative personnel, adding that 15 ambulances will as well be provided for emergency services. Meanwhile, the BIC announced yesterday that this year’s F1 Fanzone activities include F1 Esports, a Reaction Challenge, a Pitstop Challenge, and a TV Challenge, plus an appearance by driver Bobble Heads. 

“Each offers its own unique thrills, and they all add to the “limitless” fun and excitement this Thursday to Sunday at “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East” in Sakhir.
