The names of account holders in adultery website now out

Manama

Bahrain apparently has a large number of 'cheaters', according to the data leaked from a famous adultery website by hackers.

Data leaked from AshleyMadison.com, a website that promotes extramarital affairs, revealed that 730 accounts have been created in Bahrain. And these account holders are now at the risk of being exposed as their personal details are out for public viewing.

In GCC region, Bahrain is third behind Saudi Arabia and Morroco, both of which have significantly higher population than the Kingdom.

Saudi Arabia, which has a population 23 times more than Bahrain has 1230 accounts, while Morroco has 999, according to Saudi based daily AlArabiya.

The hackers, who claim to be "the moral judge, juror, and executioner, seeing fit to impose a personal notion of virtue on all of society" accused Ashley Maddison's owner company Avid Life Media of dishonesty and deceit.

“We have exposed the fraud, deceit, and stupidity of Avid Life Media and their members. Now everyone gets to see their data, " it stated.

However, analysts said, it will take a lot of time and effort to search for individuals as the leaked data is so huge.

However, many celebrities around the world have already become victims after being exposed. Divorces have also been reported after the data became public.
