N.Sitra industrial Area inspected

Minister of Industry and Commerce, Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani visited yesterday North Sitra Industrial Area, along with the Undersecretary of Industry Affairs, Osama Al Arrayed and industrial areas team.
The visit aimed at inspecting the situation of the area, existing investments and future requirements. The team will now take steps to correct the violations found during the visit, accordance to the recently approved criteria by the cabinet.
The minister highlighted the importance of cooperation between the industrial tenants and those in charge of industrial areas to tackle anything that obstructs economic development. He appreciated the national companies that contributed in the creation of active industrial projects.
“The achievements of Bahrain in the industrial and commercial sectors were part of the positive cooperation between the private and public sectors, besides the privileges the wise government provides to attract international investments,” the minister said. The 1,400.00-square meter North Sitra Industrial Area accommodates 147 tenants.
