Hammoudi to visit Bahrain
Manama : Iraq Olympic Committee president Raad Hammoudi is scheduled to arrive in Bahrain today on an official visit to attend the Fifth West Asian Weightlifting Championship, to be organised in the Kingdom from March 15 to 20.
Hammoudi will be joined by his general secretary Haider Hussain Ali, as the Bahrain Olympic Committee has prepared a special reception ceremony to welcome the pair.
During the visit, the visiting duo will also have meetings with top Bahraini sports officials in an attempt to further strengthen ties between the two countries in the field of sports.
