International Youth Federation to give voice to youth

Manama : International Youth Federation (IYF) aims to support youth initiatives by providing them with a “globally recognized voice” said Abdulaziz Alsebaie, the newly appointed IYF representative.Youth are in need of a support to help them make a difference in the society and IYF aims to do just that, said Alsebaie. 

Alsebaie told DT News that currently he is laying the groundwork for the federation. 

“It’s difficult to decide just yet as it’s still an early stage wherein we are more focused and busy in laying solid grounds for the Federation. However, my focus will be on empowering the youth through giving them the opportunity to share their ideas, create and executive initiatives as per the shared vision. I am hoping that a collaboration between IYF’, the private and public sectors will come into play, mainly through charity initiatives that serve the country,” he said.  

“Giving them a voice that’s recognized worldwide, that’s what the IYF is here for and that’s what I am hoping to develop. I have witnessed many initiatives that perhaps didn’t find the support it needed nor the accreditation to acknowledge its achievements. We’re here to take it to the next level and hopefully, this will contribute to the sustainability of such projects,” he said.
