Klidson to defend against Kennedy
Manama : Brave Combat Federation has announced that Klidson Farias de Abreu will defend his Light Heavyweight championship against Kennedy Nzechukwu at the eleventh edition of the event in Brazil.
Klidson was crowned champion at the eighth edition of the event hosted in Brazil where he faced the high profile German prospect, Timo Feucht. Klidson submitted Timo in the second round via armbar before of an ecstatic hometown audience to be crowned as a champion by none other than MMA legend Wanderlei Silva.
His opponent, Kennedy Nzechukwu has an undefeated career record and is noted for his 6’5 feet height and 211 cm reach advantage which is a threat to anyone stepping into the division against the fighter of Nigerian origin.
Currently residing in Dallas, Texas, Kennedy will face Klidson in his first ever championship title defence.
Brave Combat Federation will be hosting the event in the Mineirinho Arena at Belo Horizonte, which is the biggest indoor sporting arena in Brazil.
The fight night is announced to take place on 13th April, 2018.
