Bahrain beat Yemen
Kuwait : Bahrain edged past Yemen 1-0 in the second round of Group B in the Gulf Cup of Nations “Khaleeji 23”, being held in Kuwait. Jamal Rashid scored the only goal 37 minutes into the first half of the match, sealing the final victory for Bahrain, which totals 4 points in two matches. Bahrain drew 1-1 with Iraq in the first match, while Yemen lost 4-0 to Qatar. Oman has defeated hosts Kuwait 1-0 in Group A.
Omani player Ahmad Mubarak scored the only goal in the 58th minute. By this result, Oman doused hopes of hosts Kuwait.
