RBH inaugurates play hospital in Seef Mall

Salmaniya : Supporting early learning and development in children, Royal Bahrain Hospital recently inaugurated an interactive hospital themed play area at the PLAY in Seef Mall.  

The area, virtually serving as the mini branch of Royal Bahrain Hospital, is designed in to feature a real life clinical setting. 

Children can engage in role-playing as doctors and patients and undertake natural learnings of a healthcare environment. 

The area is equipped with safe, children friendly medical equipment required for day-to-day checkups and activities that go on in a normal day at a Hospital. 

 Through this initiative the Royal Bahrain Hospital aims to educate the children about different areas in a medical facility. 

Children can role-play to perform checkups, eye exams or study an x-ray all while wearing mini lab coats tailored for the
kids! 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sheriff Sahadulla, Executive Director & Chief Medical Officer at Royal Bahrain Hospital said, “We are extremely glad to be associated in this initiative with PLAY as it provides a good atmosphere for children to pick up early learning and lay grounds for a strong foundation. In addition to introducing children to hospital functions in a fun way we will also be conducting educational activities for them periodically.”
