Majority of Haj pilgrims reach home

Manama : The majority of Bahrain pilgrims completed the Hajj pilgrimage rites and reached the Kingdom yesterday, while the remaining will travel home in the next two days. Hajj Mission Head Sheikh Adnan Al Qattan yesterday confirmed that all 4,625 pilgrims from Bahrain completed the final rituals on Monday, adding that the majority have left the holy lands while few preferred to stay and visit Medina, where they will spend few days before travelling back.

Shaikh Al Qattan explained that 57 authorised offices and travel agents are handling the Bahrain pilgrims’ travel procedures and that most of them are travelling by air.

According to statements issued by the national carrier, Gulf Air, 12 planes carrying pilgrims reached Bahrain yesterday.
