Bahrain attends NOC forum
Manama : Supreme Council for Youth and Sports deputy general secretary and BOC general secretary Abdulrahman Askar was the representative for Bahrain at the National Olympic Committee (NOC) gathering in Tokyo.
The forum was aimed to brief NOC representative on Japan’s preparations to host the 2020 Olympic Games.
Askar joined by BOC Projects Unit director Lounes Madene and other NOC representatives toured the sports facilities at the Olympic Village that will host all the competitions. Askar expressed his admiration for the early arrangements made by the organising committee in preparation for the next Olympics.
Askar thanked the Foreign Ministry and Bahrain’s Embassy in Tokyo, especially Mahmood Abdula’al, Fawaz Taqi and embassy staff, for their efforts and facilitating this visit for BOC representatives in Tokyo.
