Saboteurs attack school
Manama : A group of saboteurs broke into Abu Baker Al Siddiq Elementary Boys’ School and destroyed several equipment, said Education Ministry.
In a statement, the Public Relations and Information Directorate of the Ministry said, “A group of saboteurs broke into the school classroom and vandalised it.”
Condemning the act, the Directorate said that the “disgraceful acts” were aimed at preventing the students from their inherent right to education, contrary to the principles of the Islamic religion and all international conventions and humanitarian norms.
The directorate also confirmed that educational institutions were targeted 562 times in the past few years in the Kingdom.
