Drug peddler arrested
Manama : An Asian drug peddler was arrested yesterday with one kilogramme of Marijuana, security authorities announced yesterday.
Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science General Director Colonel Abddulaziz Al Rumaihi confirmed that the man was possessing narcotic pills as well as Marijuana, and that the total worth of the confiscated drugs was BD9,200.
“BD9,200 were confiscated along with different currencies amassed from drug peddling. Investigations led to his arrest after a warrant was obtained from the Public Prosecution and the narcotics were confiscated.
Legal proceedings are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.”
