Saudi cabinet expresses full solidarity with Bahrain

Jeddah : The Saudi cabinet has reiterated the support of Saudi Arabia for the measures being taken by Bahrain to maintain its security and stability and the safety of its citizens and residents.

The cabinet, holding its weekly session chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz in Jeddah, stressed that the security and stability of Bahrain is an integral part of the security and stability of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

The cabinet also expressed Saudi Arabia's strong condemnation of the armed attack in Minya province, Egypt, and affirmed its support for the measures taken by the Egyptian government to defend its security and protect its people in accordance with the rules of international law and international covenants. 

The cabinet also expressed Saudi Arabia's condemnation of the twin suicide bombing targeting a bus station east of the Indonesian capital Jakarta as well as the explosion in Manchester, United Kingdom, which resulted in deaths and injuries. 

The cabinet reiterated Saudi Arabia's solidarity with Egypt, Indonesia and the United Kingdom against terrorism and emphasised the importance of concerted international efforts to eliminate the scourge of terrorism and extremism.
