Inter Hotel Cricket: Ritz-Carlton (A) win
Manama : The Ritz-Carlton (A) defeated Le Meridien by five wickets in the latest round of matches of The Ritz Carlton Bahrain Sixth Inter Hotel Charity Cricket Tournament 2017 at the Ritz-Carlton Staff Recreation area.
Batting first, Le Meridien were bowled out for just 23 in 5.5 overs with Ali (4 off 9 deliveries) top scorer and Soufian (one for four ) the best of the bowlers.
Ritz-Carlton (A) in reply reached the target scoring 24 for one in 2.3 overs thanks to a fine knock by Ramesh (17 off 8, 2x6, 1x4).
24 teams are in the fray playing round-robin group matches followed by the knockout stage with the final set for 28 March.
This year’s official charity is the Child Wish Society.
